Make the best garlic butter Air Fryer Steak Bites in under 20 minutes; no marinating needed. A crispy caramelized crust on the outside and juicy, moist, tender middles every single time.
Air Fryer Garlic Butter Steak Bites
Our buttery Air Fryer Steak Bites recipe requires no marinating in advance and takes a fraction of the prep time as their pre-seasoned counterparts. My Asian Steak Bites and Garlic Butter Steak Bites are just as quick and easy to cook on the stovetop, but I love the convenience of an air fryer recipe when I don’t feel like cleaning.
These air fried steak bites are crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and full of delicious herbed butter flavor; they’re simply seasoned, coated in a melted butter mixture, and served hot with butter for dipping on the side (although a BBQ sauce or teriyaki sauce would also taste delicious).
I love air fryer recipes that rely on the hot circulating air to cook steak pieces rather than deep frying in oil or searing on the stovetop; you get the same juicy steak bites and crispy skin with way less mess and no brining needed.

Tips For Making The Best Air Fryer Steak Bites
- A COSORI brand 6.8-quart air fryer was used to develop this recipe. If your air fryer is smaller, you may need to cook your steak bites in two batches. Be sure to follow your particular brand air fryer for preheating and cooking instructions, as air fryers can vary between brands and sizes.
- I recommend trimming off any excess fat from your steaks when cutting them into cubes.
- Be sure that your steak is at room temperature before cooking to ensure that the beef cooks evenly.
- You can double your herbed butter amount and serve the additional ¼ cup in a small bowl alongside your steak bites and side dishes.
How to Store Steak Bites
- To Store: These air fryer steak bites should be served immediately for the best flavor. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- To Reheat: You can reheat the steak bites in the air fryer for 2-3 minutes or according to your brand of air fryer’s directions.
