I made chocolate chip cookies for Christmas. I also used the Nestles Toll House recipe. I bake them and they where great nice a chewy in the center crisp on the edges. I cooled them and placed them in a air tight zip lock bag. By the evening they where like rocks. Great flavor but hard no longer the great chewy texture you like in a cookie. I think what I did wrong was over cream the butter. I wanted to be sure the butter and sugar was creamy. I probable creamed the butter for 5 min or more. Could that haved cause my problem?
