How To Make Banana Cream Pie Dip

The process is simple and the ingredients are few – 6 to be exact. That is a winning combination right there!

To make this Banana Cream Pie Dip, I use a handheld electric mixer because I feel it speeds up the process. Of course, you can use a whisk if you wish.

Banana Cream Pie

First, mix the pudding with the Half & Half. You can use whole milk as well, although the final result may not be as rich and creamy. The mixture will look as if it is setting right before your eyes. That is expected.

Then beat the cream cheese, powdered sugar and vanilla extract. Room temperature cream cheese is key for quick and creamy results.

Next, whisk in the whip topping. I like to add it in two batches, making sure the first batch is completely incorporated before I add the remaining whip topping.

Lastly, mix the pudding mixture with the cream cheese mixture. It will look fluffy and creamy.

This is the time when you will have to show some restraint and stop yourself from eating it!

I top the creamy dip with sliced bananas and crushed Nilla wafers. PRO-TIP: Some toasted coconut is amazing sprinkled on top too!

What to Dip in this Banana Cram Pie Dip

Now the fun part, the dippers. There are so many possibilities – banana slices and Nilla Wafers are a must. I also love having graham crackers, strawberries and my favorite – big pieces of chocolate (because banana and chocolate are perfect together).

Make Ahead and How to Store

Without the toppings, this dip will keep well in the refrigerator for up to 3 days making it a great make-ahead dessert. Just make sure to store it in an airtight container.

    SUPER SUPER GOOD!!!

This can be used as a straight up BananaPudding or a banana cream pie f put in a crust and refrigerated for several hours.

We made and used this as a duo with various types of cookies and my favorite is with nutter butter peanut butter cookies. We let this instant pudding desserts sit a minimum of 5 to 6 hours so that the wafers set and become more cake like.

You can divide this up into individual dessert dishes as well and serve as a banana pudding mousse. We like to slice fresh mote to the green bananas as we serve and go through this dessert so that we have no worries of brown looking bananas.

I used 1/2 cup powder sugar and kept everything else the same and it tasted absolutely scrumptious.

Love love love this recipe and highly recommend if youโ€™re like me and love great but super simple few ingredients recipes.

    Perfect.

This is wonderful and super easy.
