These camping hacks are so amazing . Actually I am planning to go offbeat trip next month in hilly areas. I will definitely gonna try these ideas . Thanks for sharing these stuff.
All these camping ideas as I belongs to hilly areas( himalayan – state uttrakhand) where these kind of activities are common, but the stuff you shared are very interesting.
Thanks for sharing
The firewood idea is genius–but you can’t let it burn ‘safely’ all night. Assuming that you are going to fall asleep at some point, that would leave the fire unattended–and that is against any common sense or rules. (This would have been a good place to remind people not to bring their own wood due to invasive species.)
The memory rocks seem to be a good idea, until you remember that you cannot take rocks (and things of that sort) out of many parks, and definitely not out of any national park.
I really thought so many of the ideas are clever, but not all ideas should be used. Going camping is to get away from the everyday–not to drag it with you.
i love learning hacks for camping. I used to camp all the time, but my husband idea of roughing it is being more than 3 doors away from the ice machine.
Hello, just an f.y.i. looked at some of the suggestions and tried the links. The cooler liner is not available any longer and the blender combo cooler is unavailable and by reading purchaser reviews was of poor quality. Most of the ideas are very good here and at some point look forward to using them in the future.
This isn’t camping, this is glamping.
The car pantry thing is cool, but how do you keep the drawers from sliding open in-transit in a car where the drawers don’t butt up against the trunk door when closed??
A tight bungee cord running from the top to the bottom should do the trick.
Duct tape in a pinch.
Not just that, but where does all your other luggage and gear go? Tents, bedding, air mattresses, cots, luggage, and then where will the kids sit? I could see using one of those shelving units for food, but 3 seems like overkill. Maybe this is for a long trip and they have no kids…?
love these ideals
Jenn,
I love all these camping ideas. We recently purchased and RV and have been camping every weekend. I cannot wait to try several of these ideas.
