No need to wait in the long lines to enjoy the deliciousness of Disney Park’s famous churros! They have released the recipe for these tasty treats, so you can enjoy them right from the comfort of your home. These copycat churros will curb your craving in-between visits to the famous parks.
Not to mention, these are such a fun treat to make with the kids! Simply tell them that they come from Disney world and they are sure to be sold, I know my kids are. It’s a unique dessert, not something you have homemade every day. I love to make these for occasions like birthdays or just a special day of any kind.

Ingredients
- 1 cup of water
- 8 tablespoons of butter
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ¾ teaspoon ground cinnamon, divided
- 1 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
- 3 eggs
- 1 ½ cups vegetable or canola oil
- ½ cup sugar

- Medium skillet or 1-quart saucepan
- Piping bag, fitted with a large star tip
- Mesh spider strainer

How to Make Disney Churros
- Combine water, butter, salt, and ¼ teaspoon cinnamon in a saucepan over medium heat. Bring pot to a rolling boil.
- Reduce heat to low.
- Add flour and stir vigorously until mix forms a ball. Remove from heat and let rest for 5-7 minutes.
- Add eggs, one at a time, and stir until combined. Set aside.
- Heat oil in a medium skillet until temperature reaches 350 degrees.
- Spoon dough into a piping bag, fitted with a large star tip. Pipe 1-inch strips of dough over the saucepan, cut with a knife, and drop into hot oil. Repeat until the churro bites fill the saucepan, with room to fry.
- Fry churro bites until golden brown.
- Drain the churro bites on a paper towel.
- Mix your sugar and the remaining cinnamon in a medium bowl.
- Toss in churro bites until coated.
- Place on a serving plate and serve with your favorite dipping sauce.
