Cotton Candy Champagne Cocktail
Cotton candy was always one of my favorite special treats as a child. And of course, champagne is one of my favorite adult special treats!
I was so excited to put two of my favorite specials treats together to make one deliciously sweet champagne cocktail.
Champagne is always a staple at any celebration. Whether it is a wedding shower or a girl’s night out, this special drink will take the celebration to a whole new level!
Ingredients
You don’t need to be a trained mixologist or bartender to master this drink! All you need to make our new favorite cocktail is champagne and cotton candy.
- 1 bottle of champagne
- 1 package of cotton candy
If you are using this drink for a baby shower, switch up the color of the champagne if you know the gender! You can also serve our non-alcoholic version of the drink. Check out our Cotton Candy Mocktail recipe!
What Type of Champagne Should I Use For My Cocktail Recipe
Honestly, any champagne will do. Feel free to shake it up with rose champagne if you want your glass to have a soft pink hue before you pour it.
How To Make Champagne Cocktail With Cotton Candy
- Fill each glass with a small tuft of cotton candy.
- Slowly pour the champagne over the cotton candy, leaving around one inch of space at the top of the glass.
- Top each glass with a ball of cotton candy, being careful to not let the cotton candy on top touch the drink in the glass.
PRO TIP: Keep the cotton candy in the sealed bag until you are ready to use it. You don’t want it to get hard from sitting out too long or accidentally wet (we all know what happens with wet cotton candy!)
More Tips
Our Cotton Candy Cocktail is fun on its own, but here are a few ways to wow your guests even more!
- Sugar Rim the Champagne Flutes. Before your guests arrive, spend a few minutes decorating the glasses for the full champagne cocktail experience. All you do is take a moistened paper towel and rub it against the rim of the glass. Did the moistened glass into a small bowl of sanding sugar. There are tons of colors and you can go with the same color as the cotton candy or go for a gold or silver or accent color to shake things up!
- Add More Candy! Can something really have too much candy? Not on my watch! Garnish the drink with rock candy stir sticks, gummy bears, or sour straws.
