Easy Marshmallow Fudge
Homemade Marshmallow Fudge recipes create my favorite kind of candy, especially when they take mere minutes to make and can be customized with your favorite flavors, colors, candy, and cookies.
Preparing this chocolate fudge marshmallow recipe is as simple as melting semisweet chocolate chips with sweetened condensed milk, and heavy cream in the microwave, then stirring in marshmallows, spreading the mixture in a pan, and chilling it to set.
Making my fudge recipe with marshmallows is so much easier than the original fantasy fudge recipe (aka marshmallow creme fudge), not only because it calls for far fewer ingredients, but it also takes less time.
This microwave chocolate marshmallow fudge never gets grainy but rather gives you the best big batch of marshmallow-filled morsels so you can share with friends and family (and no one will know you used shortcuts).

How to Make Marshmallow Fudge
- Make The Chocolate Mixture: Microwave the chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and heavy cream in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until melted and smooth. Allow the mixture to rest for 1-2 minutes.
- Mix In Marshmallows: Stir the marshmallows into the melted chocolate.
- Pour In The Pan: Spread the fudge in the baking dish and chill for 2-3 hours until set.
- Slice and Serve: Slice into 24 – 1½-inch x 1½-inch squares and keep refrigerated until ready to serve. Enjoy!
Tip From Our Recipe Developer
- You can add chopped nuts to the fudge for added texture.
- I like to line my pan with parchment paper so I can lift out the fudge and cut it on a cutting board instead of in the pan.
- Be careful not to overcook your fudge or it will become grainy.
- If you are freezing the fudge, wrap the un-cut fudge in wax paper and then plastic wrap or aluminum foil. This can help keep the chocolate from that slight crystallization from forming.
Storage
- To Store: Store any leftover fudge in the refrigerator in an airtight container for up to 14 days.
- To Freeze: You can freeze the fudge for up to 3 months if wrapped well and placed in a freezer-safe bag.
