Ingredients

  • Butter Snap Pretzels – these are the square criss-cross pretzels.
  • White Candy Melts – I used the Ghiradelli brand, they are larger than the Wilton brand. You want them to cover the pretzel!
  • Easter M&M’s – feel free to get creative with the colors. You can really make these for any holiday (the Valentine’s Day M&Ms are really cute on the pretzels as well!) Spring Flower Pretzel Bites ingredients

Ingredients

  • Butter Snap Pretzels
  • White Candy Melts
  • Pastel M&M's

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 225 degrees (see below for microwave instructions)
  • Line a baking sheet with either parchment paper or a silicon baking liner
  • Place the butter snap pretzels in rows on the baking sheet
  • Put one candy melt on top of each pretzel
  • Warm in oven for 2-3 minutes - you don't want them melted, just softened.
(you can also put them on a paper plate and warm them in the microwave for about 55 seconds - don't over cook them, just until soft. All microwaves heat differently so experiment with 1 or 2 to start)
  • Quickly place one M& M in the center and surround it by 6 "petals". Gently press them down to "secure" them in the candy (if you are anything like me, it would drive me crazy to mess up these adorable flowers with a big "M", so place the M&M's "M" side down!
  • Let cool and serve. (you can speed up the cooling time by placing them in the refrigerator for a few minutes)
  • Store in an airtight container - enjoy!

Jenn's Notes

Tip: Keep the "M" side facing down!

These were SOO adorable! I used the Caramel M&M’s as the centers and they were quite the treat. I’m probably going to make these for a party later…

I made these cute little flowers for Easter. I actually didn’t care this time if the M&M’s showed They turned out great! I also made some with some Peanut butter chips I had. I placed 4 chips on each pretzel and the M&M’s actually held on better than the melting wafers.

I didnโ€™t have the wafers but I had a couple of Ghirardelli white chocolate baking bars. It wasnโ€™t easy to make flier with square chocolate but they did come out great.

I made them, and canโ€™t believe how cute they turned out! I made the mistake of melting 88 at one time. I had to remelt half-way through, but candy melted again. I will definitely make again!

These are adorable! Tried to make them today. I bought the Merkens White chocolate wafers. I could not get them to melt properly. Tried the oven and microwave. I ended up melting the chocolate down and spread it on the pretzel. Definitely messier. Are the candy melts you used real chocolate?

Love these! I found it easier to place the M&Ms if I melted the chocolate in the oven instead of the microwave. I had issues with the M&Ms cracking when I placed them on the hot melted chocolate (both microwave and oven methods). Once they cooled a bit I didn’t have that problem. Thanks for sharing!
