TikTok Strawberry Peanut Butter Chocolate Bark
Trust me when I tell you that this easy chocolate Strawberry Peanut Butter Bark recipe tastes delicious! For all of you who follow the latest food finds, @faithsfresh has started a new TikTok trend that’s worth a try.
I know the combination of peanut butter, chocolate, and strawberries sounds kind of strange, but it somehow just works well; it’s kind of like eating a chocolate peanut butter and strawberry jelly sandwich without the bread and a nice change from the frozen yogurt bark with berries.
Chocolate covered strawberries will always hold a place in my heart, but spreading peanut butter over the slices first makes the best frozen bark snack!

Substitutions and Additions
- Choose Your Chocolate: Milk, dark, or even white chocolate can be used instead of semi-sweet chocolate chips in this recipe.
- Pick Your Peanut Butter: Either creamy or crunchy peanut butter will work for your bark. I opted for a creamy consistency because I wanted a smoother finish when I spread the chocolate on top.
- Use Other Oil: Canola, vegetable, and refined coconut oil are all great substitutes for vegetable shortening.
- Tasty Toppings: Feel free to use crushed peanuts or crumbled freeze-dried strawberries to top the bark if you don’t want to sprinkle it with salt.
How to Make Strawberry Peanut Butter Bark
- Slice The Strawberries: Remove the top, outer edges, and slice the strawberries lengthwise. Arrange them in rows. (Image 1)
- Prepare The Peanut Butter: Microwave the peanut butter for 15-20 seconds and spread it over the strawberries (Image 2). Freeze for 5 minutes.
- Melt: Microwave the chocolate and shortening in 20-second increments until smooth, stirring in between each burst.
- Top The Treats: Pour the melted chocolate over the peanut butter and top with sea salt (Image 3). Freeze for at least two hours.
- Slice and Serve: Slice into pieces, serve, and enjoy!
Tips For Making The Best Strawberry Peanut Butter Bark
- Slice off the rounded edges of the strawberries so they lie flat and make the thickness of the slices as even as possible; this will make it easier to spread the peanut butter over them.
- Don’t hull the strawberries; instead, use a sharp knife to cut the tops off, creating a flat surface. This will help create a nice, clean board on the edge of the bark.
- Arrange strawberries on parchment paper in rows, alternating their direction so the triangular end of each strawberry fits into the gaps in the previous row.
- If you are using a natural peanut butter that is already fairly loose, you will not need to microwave it.
- Adding vegetable shortening to the chocolate helps thin it out, making it easier to smooth over the peanut butter.
- The sea salt is optional but highly recommended as it creates a nice sweet and salty finish.
How to Store Strawberry Peanut Butter Bark
- To Store: Store leftovers in an airtight container in the freezer for up to three months.
