Air Fryer Corn on the Cob Is SO Easy
Air Fryer Corn on the Cob is my favorite summer side to accompany most any meal. Why fire up the barbecue or boil your ears in water when cooking corn in the air fryer is faster and still filled with grilled corn on the cob flavor?
You don’t have to heat up the house with the oven when preparing this recipe because the circulating hot air creates a similar caramelized exterior in every tender and juicy bite.

Air-fried corn on the Cob is a great snack on its own and a wonderful accompaniment to a wide variety of dishes. I love serving it alongside homemade hamburgers, grilled meat, or fish or even with your favorite sandwiches.

Tips & Variations
- Cooking Corn: I used large ears of corn for this recipe. If you have a smaller air fryer, you can cut the corn in half and cook for the same amount of time in the air fryer.
- Vegan Version: You can use olive oil or avocado oil in place of the butter and leave out the parmesan cheese to make this a dairy-free recipe.
- Season Or Spice: Feel free to add some extra seasoning or spices to your butter mixture, like dried thyme, smoked paprika, or dried basil.
- Grab A Garnish: Butter, bacon, queso fresco, Parmesan, lime, parsley, cilantro, and chili can all be will all taste delicious on top of your corn.
How To Coat The Corn
It may sound silly, but the best way to spread butter around the corn evenly is to use your hands! If you don’t want to touch your food, you can use a silicone pastry brush. It may be a little more difficult to get the butter to spread evenly with the brush.
Proper Storage
- To Store: Cooked corn on the cob can be wrapped and stored in an airtight container in the fridge for 1-2 days.
- To Freeze: The kernels can be removed from the cob and frozen for 6-8 months.
- To Reheat: The corn can be reheated while frozen or thawed first. Keep in mind that the texture of the corn may change after being stored and reheated but it will work well in soups, casseroles and other recipes.
