- Crescent rolls
- Granny Smith apple
- Brown sugar
- Sugar
- Cinnamon
- Pecans
- Butter
- Caramel sauce, optional

How to Make Apple pie Bites
- In a small mixing bowl combine brown sugar, sugar, and cinnamon and mix together with a fork to combine, set aside.
- Roll out the crescent rolls on the prepared baking sheet and using a knife, or pizza cutter, separate each triangle.
- Melt butter in a microwave safe dish. Allow the butter to cool slightly then lightly brush the butter over the crescent roll triangles.
- Sprinkle each triangle with cinnamon sugar mixture and chopped pecans.
- Peel and slice the apple into 1/4 inch slices and place one slice at the wider end of each crescent roll. Begin rolling the dough from the wide end to the narrow end and arrange on the baking pan.
- Lightly brush the tops of the crescent rolls with the remaining melted butter and sprinkle with additional cinnamon sugar mixture. Bake for 13 minutes.
- Top with a drizzle of the caramel sauce and serve.

- 16 oz container crescent rolls
- 1 Granny Smith apple peeled and sliced
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- ¼ cup sugar
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- ¼ cup pecans chopped fine
- 4 tbsp butter
- ½ cup caramel sauce optional
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375* degrees and line 2 rimmed baking sheets with parchment paper and set aside.
- In a small mixing bowl combine brown sugar, sugar, and cinnamon and mix together with a fork to combine, set aside
- Roll out the crescent rolls on the prepared baking sheet and using a knife, or pizza cutter, separate each triangle.
- Melt butter in a microwave safe dish. Allow the butter to cool slightly then lightly brush the butter over the crescent roll triangles. *Make sure to reserve some of the melted butter to brush onto the tops of the rolled croissants before baking*
- Sprinkle each triangle with 1 teaspoon of the cinnamon sugar mixture and 1 teaspoon of the chopped pecans.
- Peel and slice the apple into ¼ inch slices and place one slice at the wider end of each crescent roll. Begin rolling the dough from the wide end to the narrow end and arrange on the baking pan.
- Lightly brush the tops of the crescent rolls with the remaining melted butter and sprinkle with additional cinnamon sugar mixture. Bake for 13 minutes.

Jenn’s Notes
- You can substitute apple pie spice for the cinnamon or walnuts for the chopped pecans.

I think this is the same recipe my niece made today for our get together for July 3 (we are celebrating the 4th a day early because some of family will be out of town). She had enough for three of us to sample and they are delicious. I have printed the recipe for future use for me.
