Preheat the oven to 375* degrees and line 2 rimmed baking sheets with parchment paper and set aside.
In a small mixing bowl combine brown sugar, sugar, and cinnamon and mix together with a fork to combine, set aside
Roll out the crescent rolls on the prepared baking sheet and using a knife, or pizza cutter, separate each triangle.
Melt butter in a microwave safe dish. Allow the butter to cool slightly then lightly brush the butter over the crescent roll triangles. *Make sure to reserve some of the melted butter to brush onto the tops of the rolled croissants before baking*
Sprinkle each triangle with 1 teaspoon of the cinnamon sugar mixture and 1 teaspoon of the chopped pecans.
Peel and slice the apple into ¼ inch slices and place one slice at the wider end of each crescent roll. Begin rolling the dough from the wide end to the narrow end and arrange on the baking pan.
Lightly brush the tops of the crescent rolls with the remaining melted butter and sprinkle with additional cinnamon sugar mixture. Bake for 13 minutes.
Top with a drizzle of the caramel sauce and serve.

Notes
You can substitute apple pie spice for the cinnamon or walnuts for the chopped pecans.
If you have an apple corer/slicer tool this will make for a super easy prep of the apples!
