Overnight Stuffed Apple Pie French Toast

Hi everyone! Amanda here from Old House to New Home sharing this Overnight Stuffed Apple Pie French Toast.

Are you team apple or team pumpkin? While I love pumpkin and eat my fair share of fall pumpkin recipes, apple reigns supreme in my book.

I cannot get enough of tart apples tossed with cinnamon and sugar and baked until warm and gooey. There is nothing better than an apple pie, and you will never convince me otherwise 🙂

Since I love apple pie so much, I am always trying to incorporate those flavors into other dishes.

How to make Overnight Stuffed Apple Pie French Toast

This Overnight Stuffed Apple Pie French Toast was born from my desire to eat apple pie for breakfast! I used my favorite type of french toast bread, brioche, and then sandwiched apple pie filling between two slices.

I’ll be honest and tell you that I had all intentions of making homemade apple pie filling for this recipe, but when I got up to make it before bed, I realized opening a can of apple pie filling was probably going to yield nearly the same results.

If you love homemade apple pie filling, definitely substitute that, but if you are throwing this together before bed, the store bought stuff works well too!

If you want to truly go homemade, Jenn has a great apple pie filling that she uses for her delicious Caramel Apple Crisp Bites.
