- Make Without Waffle Cones: You can substitute the waffle cones with extra large sugar cones or stand-up ice cream cones.
- Fill With Flavored Yogurt: You can substitute the plain or vanilla yogurt with any fruit flavor you prefer, such as raspberry, blueberry, peach, strawberry, lemon, etc.
- Pick Your Pirouettes: You can substitute the vanilla pirouettes with chocolate or hazelnut pirouettes.
- Prepare With Pudding or Cool Whip: You can swap out the yogurt filling and use Cool Whip, whipped cream, or vanilla pudding if you prefer.

How to Make Patriotic Fruit Cones
- Coat The Cone Tops: Dip the top of each cone into melted white chocolate, allowing the excess to drip back into the bowl. Add red and blue sprinkles to each candy-covered cone top and place them upright in heavy cups or bowls. Chill in the refrigerator for 10 minutes to to harden.
- Fill: Fill each cone with layers of fruit and yogurt, ending with fruit on top.
- Serve: Serve chilled and enjoy!

Patriotic Fruit Cones
Ingredients
- 1 cup White chocolate melting wafers or chips
- 6 waffle cones
- ¼ cup red and blue sugar sprinkles
- 6 vanilla pirouette cream-filled wafers
- 2 cups white yogurt unflavored or vanilla
- 1 cup raspberries
- 1 cup blueberries
- 1 cup small strawberries
Instructions
- Melt the white melting wafers in a small heat-safe bowl according to the package directions.
- Dip the top of each cone into the white chocolate about an inch down and then hold the cone above the bowl to allow the excess to drip back into the bowl.
- Quickly sprinkle each white-covered cone top with red and blue sprinkles over a small plate to catch the sprinkles that fall. Place them upright in heavy cups or bowls to serve as a holder for the cones. Place them in your refrigerator for 10 minutes to allow the white chocolate to harden.
- Once the white chocolate has hardened, layer your fruit between layers of yogurt, ending with fruit on top.
- Serve chilled

What kind of yogurt do you use? I can never get one that tastes good, lol
Oikos Zero Brand in either plain or lemon flavor are very good with berries.
