  1. Add The Oil: Oil both the baking sheet and then pour more over the potatoes, tomatoes, and asparagus.
  2. Assemble: Sprinkle the steak with Montreal Steak seasoning and place it on the baking sheet with the potatoes in a single layer.
  3. Broil: Broil on the top rack until the steak is browned, about 4 to 5 minutes. Flip the steak, add the asparagus and tomatoes, and continue cooking for another 4 to 5 minutes.

How To Determine When Steak Is Done

  • A steak is considered to be medium-rare when it reaches an internal temperature of 135 degrees Fahrenheit. A steak that is cooked to this degree will be pink in the center and slightly red on the outside.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup baby potatoes cut in half
  • 1 cup Cherry tomato
  • 1 bunch asparagus
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil divided
  • 1 teaspoon Montreal steak seasoning
  • 2-3 top sirloin steak patted dry (about 1 inch)

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to broil.
  • Oil a baking sheet with 1 tablespoon of olive oil.
  • Pour the rest of the oil on the vegetables (potatoes, tomatoes, and asparagus)
  • Sprinkle the steak with the Montreal Steak seasoning, and place on the baking sheet in a single layer. Add the potatoes.
  • Place into oven on the top rack and broil until the steak is browned about 4 to 5 minutes.
  • Remove the baking sheet from the oven, turn the steak on the other side, add the asparagus and tomatoes to the baking sheet. Return to the oven.
  • Continue cooking for another 4 to 5 minutes, or the steak is cooked to your desired doneness.
  • Season to taste and serve immediately.
