Snickers Caramel Brownies
Our Snickers Brownie squares are quick and easy to make using a simple shortcut to save time in the kitchen. A box of brownie mix creates the best fudgy batter for sandwiching a layer of Snickers candy in the center and then baking until the caramel bits on top turn gooey.
Snickers bar brownies are loaded with a layer of Snickers in the middle with a caramel covering on top – the different chewy, sticky textures provide the perfect contrast to the deliciously dense baked brownie.
This Snickers Brownie bar recipe combines the comfort of fresh-from-the-oven brownies with the classic flavors of a favorite nougat, caramel, and peanuts from Snickers candy bars – they’re a super thick, decadent dessert with chunks of candy and gooey caramel in every bite.

Snickers Brownies Ingredients
- Brownie mix
- Eggs
- Salted butter: You can substitute unsalted butter plus a pinch or two of salt instead.
- Milk
- Snickers: You can use any sized snickers bars, as long as they are chopped well.
- Caramel bits: These can be omitted or you can substitute ¼ cup of caramel sauce or drizzle, though it will not give the exact same result.
Substitutions and Additions
- Bake Without Butter: Instead of using butter to bake your brownies, you can use vegetable oil or canola oil, although oil may cause the brownies to have a slightly more greasy finish. Or for a lower-fat option, you could use applesauce or yogurt instead of butter.
- Make Without Milk: You can substitute half and half or even water in a pinch, though the flavor will not be as rich.
- Swap The Snickers: You can swap the Snickers Original Chocolate bars with a variety of other Snickers flavors, such as Snickers Peanut Brownie Squares, Snickers Peanut Butter Squared bars, or Snickers Almond candy. You can also try a similar type of candy bar, like Milky Way, Twix, Baby Ruth, Rolo, or KitKat.
- Make With A Different Cake Mix: Feel free to turn your brownies into blondies by using a white or yellow cake mix instead of chocolate. You can also make the recipe gluten-free by using a gluten-free brownie mix.
How to Make Snickers Brownies
- Make The Brownie Batter: Mix together the brownie mix, eggs, butter, and milk until smooth, thick and well combined.
- Prepare The Pan: Pour brownie batter into the bottom of the pan, cover with the chopped snickers, and then spread the remaining brownie mix on top. Sprinkle with the caramel bits.
- Bake The Brownies: Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 40-43 minutes or until cooked through.
- Cool and Cut: Feel free to melt more caramel bits and drizzle it over the top of the brownies. Cool for at least 20 minutes before cutting into squares.
