This copycat Chick-fil-A Frosted lemonade is easy to make at home at a fraction of the cost as the fast food frosty. Cool and creamy, sweet and tangy, this blended beverage feels like drinking dessert!
Add the lemon juice and sugar to a 7-8 cup blender. Blend at low speed on either the milkshake or smoothie setting for 30-45 seconds. (This is a quick and easy way to dissolve and blend the lemon juice and sugar)
Keep the mixer at low speed on the milkshake or smoothie setting, and drizzle in the cold water. Blend for 10-15 seconds.
Add the 6 cups of ice cream to the lemonade. Secure the lid and pulse on low until the ice cream and lemonade are well blended. Pour into 14-ounce glasses and serve immediately.

Servings: 7 - 8 ounce servingsStorage:
To Store: You can store the lemonade in the refrigerator until you are ready to add the ice cream. It is intended to be consumed immediately when the ice cream is added.
Tips:
Make sure that the water is VERY cold. You can add ice cubes to the water first, let it sit for a few minutes, then remove the ice cubes before adding the water to the blender.
I like to chill my glasses in the freezer before serving. Pouring the lemonade into a frosty glass will keep it cooler for longer.
You can stock up on fresh lemons when they are on sale at the store. Juice them and freeze the freshly squeezed lemon juice in ice cube trays so that you always have lemon juice on hand.
