Chocolate Covered Oreo Reindeer Cookies are an adorable Holiday treat for kids and big kids alike. Double stuffed Oreos dipped in melted chocolate, pretzel antlers, candy eyes, and red hot nose -they come alive as the face of reindeer to spread Holiday cheer.
Once ends have been trimmed, flatten one end out to easily insert into Oreos.
Melt candy chocolate melts in the microwave in 30-second increments until smooth and dip one end of each straw in the melted chocolate.
Place the dipped straw end carefully into the cream portion of the oreo, continue until all straws and Oreos have been used.
Place on a rimmed baking sheet lined with parchment paper and refrigerate for 5 minutes to allow the chocolate to harden.
Dip each Oreo into the melted chocolate (you may need to microwave the chocolate again to melt) and scrape off one side of the oreo to remove any extra chocolate.
Dress the chocolate covered Oreo with two candy eyes and one red hot for the nose.
Gently press the mini pretzel halves on either side of the chocolate covered oreo as the antlers and place back on the rimmed baking sheet. Continue until all the Oreos have been turned into reindeer oreo cookies and refrigerate to harden (about 10 minutes).
