Cinnamon rolls waffles are a fun way to cook breakfast with a can of cinnamon rolls and a waffle maker. This family-friendly morning meal can be made in 10 minutes, with a drizzle of icing it tastes extra delicious!
Start by preheating your waffle maker according to the manufacturer's instructions.
Spray the waffle maker with oil.
Cut the dough into 5 rolls; just follow the lines already made on the dough.
When the waffler maker is ready, take 1 roll, press it down with your hands and place it in the waffle maker.
Bake for 3 to 5 minutes until the waffle is golden brown.
Continue with the rest of the rolls.
Glaze
In a small bowl and the cream cheese, milk, and cinnamon. Mix everything until all the ingredients are well combined.
Pour over the waffles when serving.
Notes
Storage:
To Store: Store your waffles in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
To Freeze: Place your waffles in a freezer safe bag or container and freeze them for up to 3 months.
To Reheat: You can reheat your waffles in the microwave or in the waffle maker until warmed through.
Tips:
I do not recommend spraying your waffle maker with cooking spray if has a non-stick surface because it may damage the non-stick coating of your waffle iron. You can brush the surface with melted butter as well to prevent the waffles from sticking.
If you want to keep your waffles warm in between batches, you can place them in the oven at 200 degrees or toast them for a few seconds to crisp them up.
I highly recommend placing the cooked waffles on a wire rack to allow air to circulate underneath them. This way they will retain their crispness without becoming soggy from the steam.
