This easy Frozen Mimosa is tasty twist to a classic morning cocktail. A simple blend of frozen orange juice and sparkling wine makes a deliciously refreshing slushie sip.
In an empty ice cube tray, fill with the 2 cups of orange juice and place in your freezer for at least 2 hours or until completely frozen.
Using a blender, add the frozen orange juice ice cubes and blend until smooth and resembles a slushie. Add the 1 cup of chilled champagne or prosecco and lightly pulse until combined. Don’t over pulse as it will become uncarbonated.
Pour the frozen mimosa into champagne glasses and garnish with orange slices. Serve immediately.
Notes
Storage:You can store leftover frozen mimosa mixture in the freezer for up to 1 month in a freezer-safe bag or ice cube trays. The mimosa will become less carbonated after storing.Tips:
It is best to enjoy the frozen mimosas right away.
If the mixture seems too liquidy, you can add a few extra (regular) ice cubes!
Your orange juice should be naturally sweetened with no sugar added.
