20ounces(2 10-ounce) packages dark chocolate kisses
25(about 5 single packages) peep marshmallow bunnies or chicks
Optional foods to dip: graham crackers, pretzels, vanilla wafers
Instructions
Prepare an 8x8 inch baking dish by spraying it lightly with cooking spray and preheat your oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit.
Open and unwrap the kisses and spread them evenly onto the bottom of the baking dish. You should have enough of them for about two layers of kisses all across the pan.
Place the pan in the oven for 3-5 minutes, until the chocolates are shiny and soft throughout.
Top with colorful peep marshmallows and place them to your liking. I like to alternate out the colors but you can also do all 1 color or do a gradient of colors. Feel free to have fun with it.
Place back in the oven for 3-5 minutes or until the tops of the peeps start turning golden brown.
Serve warm with graham crackers, pretzels, or vanilla wafers for dipping.
Notes
Storage:
To Store: You can store your Peeps S'mores Dip, covered, for 3-5 days in the refrigerator, however it is best warm and fresh.
To Reheat: Before serving your refrigerated dip, allow it to come to room temperature and then rebake it at 400 degrees Fahrenheit until heated through. You can also reheat portions in the microwave for 1 minute at a time.
Tips:
This dip is best when served immediately, while the chocolate and marshmallows are still warm and gooey!
Feel free to try this recipe white chocolate or a mixture of white and dark chocolate.
This recipe is a perfect way to feed a crowd. I love serving the dip on a platter surrounded by a variety of dipping options and letting people dip in.
You can line the bottom of any dish with parchment paper for easier cleanup.
