Ranch Chex Mix is a quick and easy party food recipe that's perfect for feeding friends and family. Full of tangy, cheesy flavor and plenty of crunchy texture, this savory snack is simply delicious!
Preheat the oven to 300*. Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper. Set them aside.
Add the chex cereals, pretzels, cheese crackers, oyster crackers and peanuts to a 2 ½ gallon ziploc bag, or an extra large mixing bowl.
Add the melted butter and Worcestershire sauce to a small mixing bowl. Whisk to combine.
Pour the butter mixture over the cereal mixture.
If using the ziploc bag, zip the bag and shake to completely coat the cereal mixture. If using the extra large mixing bowl, stir to completely coat.
Open the ziploc and sprinkle in the ranch mix and the parmesan. Zip the bag close and shake to completely coat. If using the bowl, sprinkle the ranch mix and parmesan. Stir to completely coat.
Divide the Chex mix evenly between the 2 prepared baking sheets.
Sprinkle 1 teaspoon of dried parsley over each pan of chex mix.
Bake for 15 minutes, stir and bake for an additional 10 minutes. Allow the Chex mix to cool before serving.
Notes
Storage:
To Store: Store any leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 weeks.
To Freeze: You can freeze the cooled chex mix for up to 2 months.
Tips:
If you are not able to find the 2 ½ gallon ziploc bag, you can use 2 gallon ziploc bags instead.
You can substitute corn chex for the rice chex. Or you can even use 3 cups each of the wheat, rice and corn chex instead of the 4 ½ cups of just the wheat and rice chex.
You can use mixed party nuts instead of the dry roasted peanuts.
