Ingredients

store-bought pizza dough

cups
water
(plus 1 tablespoon) divided

baking soda

egg yolk
lightly beaten
Coarse sea salt
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Bring 6 cups of water to a pot and bring to a boil, add ⅔ cup baking soda, and stir well.

Cut pizza dough into 4 equal pieces. Roll one piece into a long “snake” cut into 12 1-inch bite-size pieces.

Prepare a baking sheet lined with paper towels
Drop bite size pieces into the boil pot of baking soda water. Remove when the pieces float to the top.
Place on a baking sheet lined with paper towel, spread apart.
Continue steps 3-6 until all pieces have been cut.
Place bite size pieces on parchment lined baking sheet
Beat together egg yolk and 1 tablespoon of water, brush over the tops of pretzel bites. Sprinkle with sea salt.

Bake for 8-10 minutes. Remove and serve warm with your choice of dipping sauces. Enjoy!
Notes
Storage:
To Store: These can be stored in an air tight container in the refrigerator for 1 week.
To Reheat: Reheat in the oven at 350 for 5 minutes.
Tips:
These are best served warm, straight from the oven.
Room temperature pizza dough is much easier to roll out than chilled pizza dough.
If you don't have parchment paper, use wax paper or a light layer of oil to prevent sticking
