1½ouncesraspberry powdered gelatin½ of a (3 ounce) box
1½ounceslime powdered gelatin½ of a (3 ounce) box
1½ounceslemon powdered gelatin½ of a (3 ounce) box
1½ouncesorange powdered gelatin½ of a (3 ounce) box
1½ouncesblueberry powdered gelatin½ of a (3 ounce) box
3cupsgreen grapes (about 20 ounces)
Instructions
In a small bowl whisk together the lime and lemon juice.
Pour the powdered gelatin into separate bowls or small cups.
Prepare the grapes by sticking a toothpick into each grape, at the top where the stem used to be attached.
Dunk the grapes into the lime and lemon mixture and then roll into the gelatin powder, alternating between flavors (one flavor per grape). You can also spoon on the jello mixture if you prefer.
Chill the covered grapes for 1-2 hours in the refrigerator or until completely chilled.
Once the grapes are chilled, remove the toothpicks and enjoy!
Notes
Storage:To Store: Store in a sealed container, in the fridge, for 1-2 weeks. To Freeze: Freeze in an airtight container for up to 3 months.Tips:
Make sure your grapes are well washed and dried before doing this recipe.
The powdered gelatin starts to get wet after repeated dipping, this can make it difficult to fully coat the grapes. If that would bother you, pour less of it into the bowls at the beginning, then switch it out with newer powdered gelatin as it gets wet.
If you are experiencing clumps of gelatin mixture when dipping, spoon the powder onto the grapes until they are completely covered.
I used a large plate to set the grapes onto after being dipped. This gives your grapes enough space to properly chill in the refrigerator. You could also use a baking sheet or serving tray.
